This forest type map was created based on Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, Envi Deep Learning, and the Forest Type Map of South Korea. This forest type map was classified using five time series forest characteristics using Joon Kim's Phenolgical Classification methodology. The forest type is Value 1 broad-leaved forest and Value 2 coniferous forest. It shows a pattern of decreasing coniferous forest and increasing broad-leaved forest from 2019 to 2021.
