Unmasking the Tissue-Resident Eukaryotic DNA virome in Humans

In this work, we revealed the composition of the eukaryotic human DNA virome in 9 organs (colon, liver, lung, heart, brain, kidney, skin, blood, hair) of several individuals. High-throughput sequencing from tissue samples was done after targeted-enrichment with in-solution RNA bait hybridization for 38 DNA viruses.
