Cardiac toxicity induced by doxorubicin

Our goal is to investigate the genetic and metabolic effects caused by doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity. We used an immortalized cardiac cell line, AC16, as our animal model. Three groups of cells were cultured in a medium containing 0.1uM doxorubicin for two, four, and six days, respectively. We then performed RNA sequencing on the DOX-treated and control samples. In addition, we performed downstream differential gene expression, enrichment analyses, and metabolic flux simulation on the transcriptomics data.
