According to a 2019 survey, several aspects were considered by Italian consumers when referring to "eco-friendly" products. 25 percent of the respondents, for instance, stated that they associate the "eco-friendly" concept to bio-degradable products. Similarly, 15 percent declared that eco-friendly products should be recyclable.
