Data and code used for analysis of Pacific cod seasonal migration in the Bering Sea. The data and code support the manuscript "Insights into the northward shift of Pacific cod in warming Bering Sea waters from pop-up satellite archival tags" published by the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (cjfas-2024-0342). Data include reconstructed movement paths, depth, and temperature data from pop-up satellite tagged cod. Code (R program) allows for visualization of geolocation output, combining probability surfaces for multiple individuals over specific time intervals, conducting net squared displacement analyses of movement patterns, and mixed effects models to describe depth and temperature patterns from tagged fish.
