Identification of proteins bound to chromatin of male meiotic cells.

Identification of lactic dehydrogenase C (LDHC)(but not lactic dehydrogenase A -LDHA) presence amoung chromatin bound proteins of pachytene/diplotene/diakinesis (PDD) cells isolated from Stra8-CAG-tdTomato mice testis. LDHC (but not LDHA) was found to be bound to chromosomes and centromeres of PDD cells by immunostaining. This project verifies the above observation using a proteomic tool.
