The dataset of the article titled "Preferential Encoding of Human Biological Motion in Dogs: Neural and Behavioral Evidence for a Human-Tuned Social Brain"

To explore how dogs process human BM relative to that of their conspecifics, We first used fMRI to compare brain activity elicited by human versus dog BM. Then, we compared dogs’ attentional responses to human and dog BM. The uploaded folder contains three subfolders. In "fMRIData & Analysis" subfolder, the' dog_pic_data.mat 'file contains the dataset used for analysis. The"Dog_pic_fig2.m" file contains the drawing code. The remaining files are image data. In "Behavior Data & Analysis" subfolder, the"Data.xlsx" file mainly contains raw encoded data, filtered data, and organized data for analysis. The 'DogAnalysis. m' file provides the analysis code, and the 'DogData. mat' file contains the processed dataset used for analysis. In "Stimuli" subfolder, there are stimuli for biological motion stimuli and video stimuli. The video stimuli have two versions for males and females, but due to authorization issues, only the male version with facial masking is uploaded here.
