We aimed to 1) evaluate the stability of equine (Equus caballus) endometrial organoids (EEO) based on transcriptomic analysis and 2) to investigate the effect of the estrous cycle on EEO on molecular developmental and structural levels. This study demonstrated culture-associated transcriptomic differences between EEO and their respective endometrial sample and revealed that in our culture system. the donor reproductive cycle could have a small effect on EEO development and transcriptome profile.
