Overview This feature service provides 2017 County Business Patterns information for Broward County, Florida, using U.S. Census Bureau economic census data. It supports exploration of employer business activity across selected industries through county and state boundary layers. Feature Layers States: A statewide polygon layer containing U.S. state and territory boundaries with County Business Patterns attributes summarizing establishments, employment, and annual payroll for selected North American Industry Classification System industries. Counties: A county polygon layer with the same County Business Patterns measures, organized for county-level comparison and analysis within the state context. Data Content The service includes counts of establishments, total employment, and annual payroll for total business activity and a set of selected industries such as grocery stores, pharmacies, air transportation, bus transportation, media industries, health care services, hospitals, child care, arts and recreation, lodging, food service, and personal care.
