The vaginal microbiota of Australian women

This project aims to characterise the vaginal microbiota composition among women attending a sexual health service in urban Australia, and explore relationships with demographic, clinical, microbiological and behavioural factors. We examined the relationship between the vaginal microbiome and cervicitis, and the relationship between the vaginal microbiome, urinary symptoms and urinary tract infections.
