Single cell RNA sequencing of kidney in mice with unilateral ureteral obstruction

In this study, we used unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) to induce renal fibrosis. Mice were sacrificed on days 3, 7 and 14 after UUO and kidneys were harvested. Kidney samples from 3 mice per group (Sham, UUO3d, UUO7d, UUO14d) were used for single-cell RNA sequencing. The aim of this study was to characterize the changes, characteristics and functional heterogeneity of various renal cells at different stages of renal fibrosis.
