This series consists of twenty-four (24) Position Papers from Charles Sturt University, which were prepared during 1989 and 1990. This was the formative period of the University, as the Charles Sturt University Act 1989 (Act No.76, 1989) was enacted on 19 July 1989. These Position Papers were commissioned to act as guiding influences on which to base the foundations of the University, both academically and administratively.The Papers are numbered 1-24 with each paper dealing with a different topic or aspect of the University’s development. The Papers are all typed, and many of them contain correspondence relevant to the production of the Paper and topic of the Paper itself.
