资源简介:
A sample of137 participants with intellectual disability, including 54 females (39.42%) and 83 males (60.58%), with a mean age of 15.02 years (SD = 1.47). Socio-demographic Questionnaire. The legal guardian of the participant completed this instrument. The following variables were collected: age, gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, home residents, locality, type of schooling (regular school, special school or if they attend a day centre for people with intellectual disability), and comorbid conditions. To categorise the socioeconomic status of each participant, total monthly family income was subdivided into three different groups (Arango et al., 2018; Sabat et al., 2019). Monthly family income of ‘0 – 852 US dollars’ was designated as ‘low socio-economic status’, ‘853 – 3,725 US dollars’ as ‘medium socio-economic status’, and ‘3,726 US dollars and above’ as ‘high socio-economic status’. Perceived Stigma of Intellectual Disability Scale (PSID; Ali et al., 2008) is a self-report questionnaire that contains ten items, each answered “yes” or “no”. A photograph is used as a visual aid and accompanies each item (available from the authors). A total score is obtained from these 10 items, with higher scores indicating a greater perception of self-stigma.
