<b>A global dataset for steel, aluminum, and cement in-use stocks at 500 m gridded level, 2000-2019</b>

The refined results help systematically reveal the spatiotemporal dynamics of materials accumulation in the world, including discrepancies in distribution between and within cities. Our findings will provide a solid database to support urban resource and waste management, spatial planning as well as additional measurement for urbanization, in addition to population and land, on the national or regional levels.
