Correlation of HIV diversity and continuous demographic and clinical factors.

The table shows Spearman correlation coefficients (P values) based on ranks of continuous baseline demographic and clinical characteristics and HRM scores. CD4 and HIV-1 RNA were obtained at time of study enrollment and age was obtained at the time of randomization. HRM scores were obtained for six regions of the HIV genome (see Methods); analyses were also performed for the mean (MEAN) and median (MED) of all six HRM scores. P values <0.05 are bolded.
