ECMWF Re-analysis Global High Resolution Surface Analyses, January 1979 to December 1993

This dataset contains the high resolution surface grids from the ECMWF 15 year reanalysis project. All of the grids are on a gaussian (N80) grid with an approximate resolution of 1.125 degrees and are archived 4x/day. More recent reanalyses have been run by ECMWF and are available in the ERA-40 [https://rda.ucar.edu#!lfd?nb=y&b=proj&v=ECMWF+ERA40+Reanalysis+Project] and the ERA-Interim [https://rda.ucar.edu/datasets/ds627.0/] datasets.
