Renal fibrosis, a key outcome of chronic kidney disease (CKD), was studied with Jingtian Granule (JT), a traditional treatment. Mice with fibrosis induced by adenine - diet were treated with JT. Renal function, collagen deposition, mRNA expression, lipid peroxidation, and iron metabolism were assessed. JT reduced collagen deposition and modulated mRNA, notably SIRT3. It activated SIRT3 to inhibit P53 acetylation. SIRT3 knockout negated JT's effects. In vitro, JT reduced ROS. JT's regulation of the SIRT3/P53 pathway suggests it could treat renal fibrosis
