REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE MANDATORY ENERGY AUDIT OF ENERGY CONSUMERS IN UZBEKISTAN

This article provides a scientific analysis of the regulatory framework for conducting mandatory energy audits of energy consumers in the Republic of Uzbekistan, existing organizational and economic problems, and ways to eliminate them. During the study, international experience was studied, in particular, the mechanisms of mandatory energy audit used in the countries of the International Energy Agency and the European Union. Scientific and practical proposals have been developed for improving the criteria for identifying large energy consumers, the frequency of audits, and the monitoring and control system in the conditions of Uzbekistan. The research results will serve to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy intensity, and strengthen national energy security.
