Acinetobacter baumannii strain INTEC_AI11. A multi-resistant bacteria isolated from the waters of the Isabela river in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.Bacteria isolated and sequenced as a result of the Prospecting project for antibiotic resistance and microbial diversity in the surrounding tributaries of the city of Santo Domingo, through metagenomics and NGS techniques, funded by the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) research fund. This project's main objective is to characterize the microbial diversity of the river and to identify and characterize its resistomes and mechanisms of transfer of resistance to antibiotics present in the environment.This research was developed as part of the academic and scientific collaboration agreement between the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Federal University of Para of Brazil.
