Gene expression levels of target genes were assessed by real time PCR in PBMCs from 16 new healthy controls after stimulation with IL10, IL4 or CTLA4 (stimulus) for 12 to 24h. Results are described as the mean (SD) of the normalize ct value from real time PCR assays. Differences were assessed with the Mann-Whitney U test.ND: not done; ns: not significant; ap value comparing results at 0 to 12 hours; bp value comparing results at 0 to 24 hours
