Two-toned pygmy squid (Idiosepius pygmaeus) transcriptome assembly, and transcriptomic response of the nervous system to elevated CO2

Assembly of a de novo transcriptome of I. pygmaeus central nervous system (CNS) and eye tissue using PacBio long-read ISO-seq data. RNA-sequencing data was mapped against this reference transcriptome to evaluate the transcriptomic response of the CNS and eyes of I. pygmaeus exposed to elevated CO2 compared with current-day controls.
