Reconstruction of characteres of the leaf anatomy of the Chapada Diamantina Clade.

This dataset supports a study analyzing the leaf anatomy of 16 species across six genera belonging to the Chapada Diamantina Clade (Asteraceae, Eupatorieae), an endemic group from the Brazilian <i>Campo rupestre</i> (rocky fields). The research focused on identifying anatomical characters (including features of the epidermis, mesophyll, vascular system, and trichomes) relevant for taxonomic delimitation and understanding evolutionary adaptations to the environment. The shared file includes the raw data matrix used for the anatomy character reconstruction analysis, aiming to test and support hypotheses derived from previous molecular studies.
