Inoculation of natural gut microbiota to day-old broiler chicks at hatchery

In this study, we have sprayed a commercial product (Aviguard) containing natural gut microbiota from healthy chicken or SPF eggs to day-old broiler chicks immediately after hatch so that the chicks prin on each other to ingest the product. The effect of microbiota inoculation on productivity, health and gut microbiota profile was studied.
