A novel three-dimensional heterobimetallic cluster {[Bu4N][WS4Cu3(CN)2]}n (1) with a heavily distorted diamondoid topology was constructed from the T-shaped building clusters [WS4Cu3]+ and single cyanide bridges in a 4-connected mode; this cluster shows strong third-order nonlinear optical properties.
