Defended Areas
收藏资源简介:
Defended areas are areas which would normally flood in a 1% AEP flood event but are protected from flooding by a flood protection scheme managed by the Waikato Regional Council. Annual Exceedance Probability (AEP) is the probability of a certain design flood flow being equalled or exceeded in any year. A 1% AEP design flood flow has a 1% or 1 in 100 chance of being equalled or exceeded in any year. Selected datasets from the Taupō District Plan (operative since 2007) have been made available for download to allow for better public access to the data underlying the plan. Note that some features mapped for district plan purposes may have changed over time, these features will not be updated within district plan datasets until such time as a plan change occurs or the next iteration of the district plan is complete. While you are free to crop, export and repurpose the data, we ask that you attribute the Taupō District Council and clearly state that your work is a derivative and not the authoritative data source. Please include this statement when distributing any work derived from this data: This work is a derivative of the Taupō District Plan.
