Main axes of the road network concerned by noise mapping - 2005 report

This data layer represents the main roads concerned by noise mapping outside agglomerations and integrated into the 2005 European report. This data layer derives from the European Directive 2002/49/EC - "Environmental Noise Directive" - relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise. The Directive provides for the development of strategic road noise maps. This data layer includes all the so-called main road sections.
