Number of employees trained by region (including reaccreditation) - Merit Protection Board

It is a requirement for all selection panels in DEECD to include a merit-\r\ntrained employee as a member of any selection panel. To facilitate this requirement, \r\nthe Merit Protection Boards provide training in the principles of merit and equity \r\nfor principals, teachers, education support class employees and members of the \r\npublic service.\r\nThese programs are conducted statewide and are supported by DEECD \r\nthrough the provision of senior personnel to deliver those sections of the training that \r\nfocus on human resource policies.
