Gut microbiota of 21 wild fish species (V3-V4 region, Illumina MiSeq)

We analyzed the gut microbiome of 18 wild fish species. We collected the intestinal contents of Okamejei kenojei (Ok), Pseudolabrus sieoboldi (Ps), Sebastes inermis (Si), Sebastiscus mamoratus (Sm), Chelidonichthys spinosus (Cs), Stephanolepis cirrhifer (Sc), Parapercis sexfasciatus (Pse), Chromis notata (Cn), Hexagrammos agrammus (Ha), Pseudopleuronectes herzensteini (Ph), Platycephalus indicus (Pi), Hexagrammos otakii (Ho), Lycodes tanakae (Lt), Microstomus achne (Ma), Pseudopleuronectes yokohamae (Py), Sebastes thompsoni (St), and Thamnaconus modestus (Tm). The V3-V4 region of 16S-rRNA was amplified, and then high-throughput sequencing was performed using MiSeq (Illumina Inc.).
