Simra Walldorf

As part of the Smart Region project Rhein-Neckar, we present a comprehensive data set that comes from the bicycle traffic analysis in the cities of Walldorf and Wiesloch. This data set was generated by local cyclists using the SimRa app during the period from 15 May 2023 to 15 October 2023. Priorities in terms of content: Source-target relationships: The dataset contains detailed information about the start and end points of the cycling routes, which provide a valuable basis for traffic planning and analysis. Dangerous situations covered: An essential part of the data set is the danger situations reported by the users. These data provide information on potential risk areas and are crucial for improving cycling safety.
