Temperature, Salinity and Ecosystem Parameters of the Black Sea from 2015-2020

This dataset contains monthly physical and ecological parameters (temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients and chlorophyll concentrations) across the entire Black Sea simulated with the coupled NEMO-TURSEM model provided by the Middle East Technical University, Institute of Marine Sciences (METU-IMS) in Turkey. The model was forced with ERA5 atmospheric forcing and is using river inputs from the EU-Project PERSEUS. The data is available in netcdf files on a 3x3km spatial resolution and has the following structure: BlackSea_TURSEM_2015_2020_monthly_gridT.nc: Temperature and Salinity BlackSea_TURSEM_2015_2020_monthly_nut.nc: Oxygen, Nitrate and Phosphate Concentration BlackSea_TURSEM_2015_2020_monthly_Chl.nc: Chlorophyll concentration form four Functional Types Disclaimer: Regardless of whether the data is quality-controlled or not, the authors do not accept any responsibility for the correctness and/or appropriate interpretation of the data.
