Data from Physiological traits explain the structuring of a squamate assemblage along an elevational gradient

This data set comprises field and laboratory measurements of ecophysiological traits from a community of squamate reptiles (lizards and snakes) in the Sierra de Manantlán Biosphere Reserve, Mexico. The data are organized into four separate sheets: Field: Contains field measurements. Gradient: Contains selected temperatures recorded from a thermal gradient. Water: Contains mass-specific evaporative water loss rates. Tolerances: Contains thermal tolerance data. Abbreviations: Contains the abbreviations and definitions used in the data set.
