资源简介:

This dataset was designed to characterize the input–output relationship of thalamocortical projections under two brain states: awake and anesthetized. Each subject underwent two identical experimental sessions, differing only in the state of consciousness. In the awake session, animals were head-fixed and fully conscious. In the anesthetized session, animals were exposed to isoflurane at surgical depth (confirmed by absence of reflexes and stable breathing rate). In both sessions, electrical stimulation (50 µs monophasic pulses) was delivered to the ventral posteromedial (VPM) thalamic nucleus through implanted electrodes. The goal was to evoke local field potentials (LFPs) in the primary somatosensory cortex (S1) and analyze how response amplitude varied with stimulation intensity. The protocol included systematic variation of stimulation intensity, as follows: From 0.1 mA to 0.9 mA, in steps of 0.1 mA From 1.0 mA to 3.0 mA, in steps of 0.2 mA Each stimulation intensity was repeated across multiple trials. The evoked responses were then analyzed to construct intensity-response curves and to compare thalamocortical transmission under awake vs. anesthetized conditions. Access before the embargo ends: the files are under embargo until 30 June 2027. To request access before then, email Ricardo Salvador (ricardo.salvador@neuroelectrics.com) with a short description of the intended use.
