Number of successful open banking payments in the UK 2021-2023

The number of successful open banking payments reported by the nine largest banks and building societies in the UK increased significantly between the first half of 2021 and the first half of 2023. In the first half of 2023, the number of open banking payments were 54.5 million, up from nine million two years earlier.
