Dimensionality and density effects on mixing in porous media: Experimental data

In this study, we performed laboratory flow-through experiments to investigate the effects of system dimensionality and density gradient on mixing in porous media. The experiments were performed in quasi two-dimensional and three-dimensional flow-through chambers. In both setups, two experiments were performed with injected salt concentrations of 4.8 g/l and 20 g/l respectively. The dataset contains： 1. The measured concentrations of sodium chloride at the outlet ports of quasi two-dimensional setup. 2. The measured concentrations of sodium chloride at the outlet ports of fully three-dimensional setup.
