This collection comprises a report, site records, images, and CAD data from an archaeological evaluation at land east of The Ridings, Malting Green Road, Layer De La Haye, Colchester, Essex, CO2 0JE. Work was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust in September 2024, in advance of a new residential development. The eight trial-trenches revealed a modern ditch visible on the 1920 OS map and three undated tree-throws.
