Science and Technology Parks (STPs) serve as crucial ecosystems for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by integrating academia, industry, and government efforts to drive technological advancements and economic growth. However, the success of STPs is heavily dependent on effective science communication, which extends beyond merely disseminating research findings. This research explores the pivotal role of science communication in enhancing the impact of STPs by facilitating knowledge transfer, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and raising public awareness. By effectively communicating scientific discoveries to industry professionals, policymakers, and the public, STPs can bridge the gap between research and its application, fostering the commercialization of innovations and contributing to broader societal and economic development. Case studies of renowned institutions such as Stanford Research Park and MIT demonstrate the significance of strategic science communication in transforming academic research into industrial innovation. Additionally, the study highlights the evolving landscape of science communication within OIC member countries, emphasizing the importance of tailored strategies to address regional challenges and opportunities. The paper concludes with recommendations for enhancing science communication practices within STPs, particularly in OIC member countries, through strategic investments, support from organizations like COMSTECH, and the development of a Science Communication Media Resource Kit. These initiatives are essential for maximizing the impact of STPs and driving sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship.
