Seeds are involved in the vertical transmission of microorganisms from one plant generation to another and consequently act as reservoirs for the plant microbiota. In this work, we assessed the influence of two biological disturbances caused by seed transmission of two phytopathogenic agents, namely Alternaria brassicicola (Ab) and Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc), on the structure and function of radish seed microbial assemblages.
