Algae and bacteria are numerically dominant in almost all aquatic environments, which together form the microbiome that plays crucial roles in nutrient cycling and energy flowing. Yet, there are many still unsolved while fascinating mysteries include their cross-organismal interactions. In this project, bloom water from Lake Taihu, Suzhou was collected for analysis. Multiple bacteria were isolated, sequenced, and annotated.
