Using a digitized road layer, and Terrainwork's Netmap HUC-8 streamline data for the Yakutat area, we noted all intersections of the road and stream. Then based on a 30 meter buffer from these generated points to all known culvert documentation in the area we removed any that appeared duplicative, and moved on with the analysis with those appearing undocumented.</span><div style='font-family:"Avenir Next W01", "Avenir Next W00", "Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif; font-size:16px;'><div><br /></div><div>Using Netmap habitat tools and swimming/ rearing characteristics of coho salmon, we were then able to find the upstream extent of anadromy from the culvert through a 12% gradient over 100 meter stream reach representing a gradient barrier, and using Romey et al Habitat Intrinsic Potential Model we further prioritize with the models summations of quality upstream habitat, with these points showing the highest survey priority.</div></div>
