The Comparison between the Experimental Group and Control Group

The listening experiment scores from both the experimental and control groups were analyzed using independent samples t-tests in SPSS 27.0 statistical software. This statistical test is appropriate for comparing the means (average scores) of two independent groups.These findings suggest that the UIC program, particularly elements like industry-specific lectures and real-world practice through internships, may have been particularly beneficial for students in these disciplines.Overall, this study suggests that UIC is a valuable approach to enhance the effectiveness of university English listening instruction. By incorporating industry resources, fostering collaboration, and promoting student engagement, UIC equips students with the essential listening skills needed to thrive in today's globalized world.
