Deterministic responses of biodiversity to climate change through exotic species invasions

The file "Chen_et_al_2024.zip" provides the scripts and data used to conduct the analyses in Chen et al., "Plant invasions: deterministic response of biodiversity to climate change" (2024).

It contains two R script files ("1_Yangtze_Main_Script", "2_Yangtze_Extended_Script") and three data tables ("yangtze_df.xlsx", "niche_df.xlsx", "future_df.xlsx"). The following is a detailed description of each file:

1_Yangtze_Main_Script: R script for the main analyses in the manuscript.

2_Yangtze_Extended_Script: R script for the extended analyses in the manuscript.

yangtze_df.xlsx: Field survey database where each row corresponds to the occurrence record of a species in a plot.

niche_df.xlsx: Climate niches for all species and predicted climate effects on exotic and native species at field sites.

future_df.xlsx: Predicted climate change effects on exotic and native plants over the next 100 years based on climatic niches.
