The processing takes place entirely within your Snowflake environment, without any external API calls.

The detector is conveniently implemented as user defined functions, which you can call anywhere Snowflake SQL is written, including tools such as DBT. After obtaining the detections, you can apply Snowflake dynamic masking or redact the data according to your needs.
