This repository contains two supplementary files related to the qualitative research article: "'They didn't hear what I was trying to say': An interpretative phenomenological analysis of survivors' experiences communicating with professionals about honour-based abuse."<b>Semi-structured Interview Guide</b>: The flexible interview guide used to conduct in-depth interviews with survivors of honour-based abuse (HBA). This guide focused on participants' experiences of communicating with professionals about HBA, including initial disclosure experiences, interactions with various professional groups, helpful and unhelpful communication aspects, barriers to effective communication, and suggestions for improvement. Interviews were conducted remotely via secure video conferencing, lasting between 60-90 minutes.
