We measured the effects of nitrogen form (Control, LAN and ammonium sulphate), nitrogen level (0, 7.1, 14.1 and 21.2 g m-2), phosphorus (0 (control), 33.6 g m-2) and lime (0 (control), 225 g m-2) and their interactions on phytomass (k ha-1) of the seven most abundant grass species, Themeda triandra, Tristachya leucothrix, Setaria sphacelata, Eragrostis curvula, E. plana, Panicum maximum and Aristida junciformis. {} = nested factor. χ2 = Wald’s χ2.
