Genome sequencing of Chionographis japonica

This study aims for a broader knowledge about the organization and diversity of the independently evolved holocentromeres and their interplay with the large-scale genome architecture and chromatin composition, we resolved the centromere and (epi)genome organization of the plant Chionographis japonica. The Chionographis japonica genome was assembled using long-read PacBio sequences with HiC-based scaffolding. The final assembly contains the sequences of the 12 chromosome scaffolds and unplaced scaffolds.
