In the present study, we have integrated lineage tracing with single-cell mRNA-Sequencing to get insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying dedifferentiation of Gata6+ epidermal cells within wounded adult mouse epidermis. Gata-lineage positive and negative epidermal cells from wounded and unwounded skin were isolated by flow sorting, profiled by Smart-seq2 and sequenced by Illumina HiSeq4000. Time points include days 0, 6, 9 and 11 after wounding".
