Hypoxic endothelial cell gene expression programs

The goals of this study were to 1) map the transcriptional programing of endothelial cells (HUVECs) exposed to varying durations and degrees of hypoxia, 2) compare hypoxic transcriptional programs between vascular, microvascular, and arterial endothelial cells, 3) determine HIF1A versus EPAS1 specific transcriptional programs in HUVECs, and 4) determine the role of SOX7 in the hypoxic transcriptional program of HUVECs. All data were generated via stranded library preparations and single end RNA-sequencing using low passage endothelial cells.
