Comprehensive investigation on marine-derived halocarbons over the coastal and open ocean of the western Pacific: sources, emissions, and environmental effects

In order to discuss the differences in concentrations, production rates, emissions, and sources of volatile halocarbons (VHCs) in the ECS, SCS, and western Pacific Ocean are discussed, along with the differences in the contributions of coastal seas and open oceans to global halogen budgets. We made measurements of concentrations of VHCs during cruises in the East China Sea (ECS), South China Sea (SCS), and Western Pacific from 2017-2020. This dataset contains the original data of Chl-<em>a</em> and atmospheric concentrations of VHCs in the ECS, SCS, and western Pacific during the period of 2017–2020.
