Scale-dependent cloud enhancement from land restoration in West African drylands

This folder contains scripts and data corresponding to the manuscript: 'Scale-dependent cloud enhancement from land restoration in West African drylands' by Jessica Ruijsch, Christopher M. Taylor, Ronald W.A. Hutjes and Adriaan J. Teuling. The .ipynb files contain Jupyter notebook files for the calculation of the HRV cloud mask (1_calculate_HRV_cloud_mask.ipynb), downloading flux files (2_downloadMSG-Fluxes.ipynb) and the data analysis (3_figures_manuscript_v3.ipynb). The calculations done in Google Earth Engine are available at (4_earthEngineAnalysis.js). exampleFolder.zip includes the folder structure needed for the above calculations.
