This accession contains 1,679 observations collected as part of Integrated Global Ocean Service System (IGOSS). The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between December 1, 1990 and January 1, 1991. The data were sent from the cruise ships to the Ocean Products Center, Camp Springs, MD via telecommunication. This data was submitted by Mr. William D. Newell to NODC.
